Pacific Northwest Medical Training Services is an EMS pre-hospital based organization that began in 1996.  It was the creation of CEO and Founder Steve E. Scruggs .  In the early 1990's many businesses and organizations required OR-OSHA and/or corporate madated American Heart Association CPR and First Aid training.  Traditionally these companies had to send their management teams and employees to off site training centers for the entire day.  This type of training was both very time consuming for employers because of travel distances, overtime pay and staffing issues and the inconvienence to the employees for mandatory training.  PNWMTS took the initiative and developed a mobile training center that took the AHA training courses to the business sites thus providing the life saving training to the employees in a non-traditional setting that provided the opportunitiy for company based scenarios that were industry based combined with hands on training in a comfortable non- threatening environment.  Today PNWMTS has expanded it mobile training coverage and serves the State of Oregon.  PNWMTS provides AHA training in HCP BLS CPR, First Aid/AED, Heart Saver, ACLS, PALS and PEARS.  PNWMTS is proud to be the leader in providing skills testing for the new AHA e-learning online programs providing all Allied Healthcare students the opportunity to complete the educational componets of their disciplines at home in their spare time.  Once online training is completed the skills testing for e-learning can be accomplished in 1-2 hours.   PNWMTS also provides FIRE / EMS and FEMA courses to other organizations.
